Michael O’Loughlin and his team, called Oregon Bee Atlas, are getting a comprehensive bee and plant sample in Yamhill county as an effort to track the bee species in the state. This will help us understand how we are doing compared with other counties and to see whether or not bee species is declining in Oregon. Bees help pollinate our crops and are vital to our agricultural industry.
